Uibo elects new Shadow Cabinet Ministry
Northern Territory Labor Leader Selena Uibo has unveiled her new Shadow Cabinet Ministry, with a significant focus on setting a new direction for Territory Labor.
The new Shadow Cabinet brings a fresh perspective to the front bench, with Labor pleased to announce Deputy Opposition Leader Dheran Young taking on more responsibilities alongside Member for Arafura Manual Brown receiving a promotion.
The changes see Opposition Leader Selena Uibo drive the strategic direction of Labor, taking on the integral shadow portfolios of Police, Treasury and Alcohol Policy.
Deputy Opposition Leader Dheran Young will become Shadow Minister for the important sectors of Health and Logistics and Infrastructure.
Chansey Paech oversees the Attorney-General portfolio and Housing, Local Government and Community Development, drawing from his significant experience across these sectors.
While newly promoted Member for Arafura Manuel Brown will join the front bench with multiple shadow portfolios alongside becoming Opposition Whip.
