Shlok Sharma

Shlok is a born and bred Territorian and has lived in the Wanguri electorate for 29 years, attending Alawa Primary School, Dripstone Middle School and Casuarina Senior College.

He is a passionate advocate for the people of Leanyer, Muirhead and Wanguri and is committed to continue to work for the electorate, just like sitting member Nicole Manison MLA.

Holding a law degree and a graduate certificate in strategic management, Shlok worked as a Revenue Analyst at the Department of Treasury and Finance and later as a Senior Advisor to the Federal Member for Solomon.

He currently works as the Northern Territory Director of the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees Association and is a champion for the safety and working conditions of workers throughout the Territory.

A true local, Shlok grew up playing cricket for Tracy Village and later soccer for Casuarina FC. Shlok has also served in several executive roles on the Indian Cultural Society and is currently their Public Officer.

Shlok and his fiancée Alexandra, another born and bred Territorian who grew up in Leanyer, know the importance of a Government that invests in its people.
